On Windows you are fighting Microsoft's impositions, I use the C SDK without VSCode on a Raspberry Pi, out of interest I tried to set Windows up to use the SDK without VSCode but it became very clear that Microsoft are trying to force you to use VSCode. The Pico is a Raspberry Pi product who are Linux based, the tools work fine on Linux, they might even work under WSL for all I know. I am sure the RP2040 is a great microcontroller but with these poor tools I cannot use it.Ĭan't you have both Python2 and Python3 installed at the same time? I expect to have an IDE with everything integrated and working. I am very disappointed at the quality of the development tools. So it would seem this set of tools cannot be used to develop software for the RP2040 on a windows PC. Could NOT find Python3 (missing: Python3_EXECUTABLE Interpreter) CMake Error at C:/Toolchain/BuildTools/CMake/3.14/trunk/bin/share/cmake-3.14/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:137 (message):
